8. What is your cancellation policy? I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. There is no penalty for canceling or moving appointment times outside of 48 hours. Within 48 hours of your appointment there is a ½ session charge for cancelling. Appoint slots vacated within 48 hours are difficult to fill and often someone else has requested that same appointment time, and were declined because it was reserved for you.
Of course, sometimes the unexpected happens, and, through no fault of your own, you are unable to make a scheduled appointment and are not able to cancel by the deadline. I have a one-time only forgiveness policy. There is no charge for the first late cancelled or missed appointment.
